My clinic is a safe and calming environment where patients can be treated in confidence. It is fully certified by the local authority for acupuncture treatments.
I offer a range of treatments that are carefully considered to meet the specific needs of my patients.
Having trained at the internationally-renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, I practice an integrated style of acupuncture encompassing both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element acupuncture. This allows me to focus on the whole person at all levels of body, mind and spirit.
Having trained for three and half years I obtained a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and License to Practice. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the UK’s largest professional/regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture. Members adhere to strict guidelines and code of ethics. I carry full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance and am fully registered with West Berkshire Council to carry out the practice of acupuncture.
Traditional acupuncture is a fundamental component of Chinese Medicine, which itself is a complete system of medicine that is over 2,000 years old.
Safe and effective, and now widely used and accepted, Chinese Medicine encompasses many modalities, including acupuncture, moxibustion (moxa), cupping, guasha and Tui Na (a form of massage) to name but a few.
The success of Chinese Medicine lies in its philosophy of dealing with the root cause of disease and approaching the patient as a unique, integrated whole, not just a subset of symptoms. This way, treatment can improve overall physical health, mental-emotional well-being and have a positive impact on a wide array of conditions.
Additionally Chinese Medicine can be a magnificent complement to Western medicine if patients are currently undergoing Western medical treatment and medication.
simple and effective
This simple and effective natural form of medicine has a great deal to offer. Through the use of fine, sterile needles, acupuncture stimulates the body to heal itself when it becomes out of balance.
The body, your body, is an amazing piece of machinery, it is designed to do just that....acupuncture just gives it a nudge in the right direction.
When used strategically as part of a clinical diagnosis and when combined with the other treatment modalities, the result is a powerful form of treatment.

Please wear comfortable and loose clothing.
Bring a list of medications you are currently taking.
Please do not brush your tongue on the morning of your treatment.
During your treatment
Please be prepared to discuss all aspects of your health. It is important to have an overview of your physical and mental well-being in order for me to properly diagnose your present condition/s. I will use other diagnostic tools including observing your tongue and taking your pulse. According to the diagnosis of your condition, specific acupuncture points will be chosen to rebalance your body. The needles are extremely thin, sterile and disposable.
